New Zealand Invention Helps Student With Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

After being bedridden for months with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), a university student has found a treatment that’s given her life back. Josie Collins was diagnosed with CFS three years ago after becoming ill with glandular fever. Approximately 45,000 people in New Zealand have been diagnosed with CFS, and researchers have found a strong link between long covid and CFS. Collins was bedridden for three months until she started FLOWpresso, a treatment designed to support the body’s lymphatic system.

Parent’s Toxic Chemical Exposure Linked To Autism In Offspring

Exposure to chemical toxicants, molds, and algae contributes to autism and attention disorders in children, according to research that bolsters earlier findings. The exposures may be most relevant, not in the children, but one generation back—in the parents. The study, “Assessing Chemical Intolerance in Parents Predicts the Risk of Autism and ADHD in Their Children,” was published in the March issue of the Journal of Xenobiotics.

Mary Eggert, 40, got Covid in July of 2022 and has never fully recovered. She's been suffering from Long Covid ever since. Her main symptoms are brain fog and chronic fatigue. She had to resign from her job as a physical therapist in 2023 and to this day spends a good part of each day either resting up to spend time with her family.

Lapillus member Chanty has announced an indefinite hiatus from group promotions due to her chronic fatigue syndrome. On April 5 KST, MLD Entertainment released an official statement, updating fans on Chanty's health status. While Chanty will remain a member of Lapillus, she will not be able to participate in group activities due to concerns that intense physical activity may strain her health. She will focus on her individual promotions for the time being.

How The Isle Of Man's Specialised Service Is Helping Tackle Long Covid And ME

Manx residents living with illnesses such as Long Covid and ME have praised a specialised service dedicated to helping those with chronic fatigue syndromes. More than 1,000 are thought to be living with Long Covid in the Isle of Man, with 350 known to have Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME).
